Data gathering, analysis and reporting for the GPSC global procurement team.  Interacts with cross-functional teams to ensure the reports are sent as per the timelines.  Develops metrics, translate the gaps into recommendations and reporting the same to key stakeholders for appropriate action. Recommends and implements process improvements. Key metric for this role is Procurement and analytical exposure.  Success is determined based on  lead-time and cost reductions as well as on supplier performance.
 Activities:• Drive procurement analytics into the organization to help business make data-driven decisions. Some of the analyses to be performed, but not limited to, are spend analyses, lead-time analyses, quality reporting, cost savings tracking, and supplier performance.
•Procurement Analytics, Metrics Development, Management and Reporting
• Identify strategic initiatives/improvements, document and facilitate delivery of enhancements
• Vendor location analysis• Cost/Unit reporting and benchmarking across commodities/regions and vendors
• Vendor Lead time analysis, DF supplier inventory analysis and recommendations on reduction of the same to commodity managers and procurement manager
• Share the procurement organization objectives and contribute to certain projects involving all the three regions (APJ, Americas and EMEA)
• Project Management - Undertake improvement projects and deliver as per timelines
• Bachelors in Business Administration (Operations/Supply Chain), PMP Certification preferred
• Plenty experience of data modeling ( eg. Good at SAS, etc.)• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and databases (Excel Pivots, Macros, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Process Flow/Diagram tools (e.g. Visio)• Understanding/Knowledge of SAP system• Good understanding of Supply Chain and procurement concepts preferred• Superior communication skills through: email, phone or face to face
• Strong project management skills and experience• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive results
