How to be a professional business analyst?

Business modeling is quite different from academic modeling. Despite the profits-oriented target of business modeling, the most difference is business modeling is time-limited, unlike academic research.
Excellent management skills
Lots of business analysts are project managers themselves. They are good at not only administration but also project management. Sometimes they must make decisions by balancing interests of all aspects.
Creative
A creative idea today, may be the trend tomorrow. During the routine analysis, there is always a flash thought. Business analysts grow it, cultivate it, and apply it into business where appropriate.

即便是我自己当初写的东西，也是会有片面性，所以，这方面的争执没有必要。很多事物实际上是像冰山一样，看到的，只是一小部分，以自己的经验和角度去推理，结果往往会像泰坦尼克一样沉下去。

处理数据完全没必要用base来base去的，用sql在原数据库中完成不就得了嘛！！！

呵呵，楼上的这位，看来还没有遇到足够复杂的业务逻辑和足够大的分析数据量，SQL可以做一部分，但是绝对不是最好的选择。
