- Being part of the Marketing Insights and Analysis team, the analyst of CAC will support advanced analytics for Marketing. The focus of this role will be to perform complex data analysis following predefined analytic process.
- CAC is part of the business unit. What CAC is working on is an integral part of business decision making. The analyst will be required to develop business acumen and to utilize a combination of business and technical skills in a timely manner. Often times they will see a direct impact of their work to eBay's business.
- Due to the complex nature of the projects, this position needs to develop understanding of the complex methodologies designed by senior team members. They need to learn quickly from mentors.
- Extensively use technical tools like SAS/SQL to perform data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, scoring and automation.
- Design processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues. Communicate data needs to Business Solution team and other partner internally and externally to resolve any potential data issues.
Requirements:
- Ability to quickly learn and understand analytical concepts.
- Good business mindset, the capable of understanding business challenges and potential analytical solutions.
- Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional teams to execute initiatives.
