Responsibilities:
Hire, retain and grow Clinical Programming expert team globally
Manage alliances with partners and vendors for Clinical Programming training, QA and delivery as required
Develop and deploy training and mentoring approach and content for various Clinical Programming activities
Develop and deploy certification program that is attractive for Clinical Programming talent pool globally and within geography
Develop re-usable assets such as training content, case database , QA approach and process maps
Develop SOPs and SPIs for Clinical Programming processes that are standardized and can be deployed to new clients as a suite of services
Accountability
Overall responsibility for the set-up of Clinical Programming global capability within agreed timelines and budget
Hiring, retention and engagement of core Clinical Programming expert team (working with the HR) including training, career development, succession planning, morale, communication and resolution of any personnel issues
Ownership and maintenance of Clinical Programming assets developed (training content etc.)
Relationship management of Clinical Programming alliance partners and vendors
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage team of senior experts in Clinical Programming/SAS
Demonstrated ability in creating assets and managing alliances
Experience in successfully managing escalated issues
Subject matter expert in Clinical Programming/SAS
Qualifications:
Degree or Post Graduate (or relevant work experience) in Life Sciences/Statistics
Minimum of 10-12 years of related work experience
Minimum of 7-8 years in Operations in a supervisory role in Clinical Programming related work
Develop and deploy training and mentoring approach and content for various Clinical Programming activities
Conduct key Clinical Programming trainings when required within geography and in other locations
Develop and deploy certification program that is attractive for Clinical Programming talent pool globally and within geography
Develop re-usable assets such as training content, case database , QA approach and process maps
Develop SOPs and SPIs for Clinical Programming processes that are standardized and can be deployed to new clients as a suite of services
Develop, deploy and monitor standard metrics and SLAs for Clinical Programming processes including financial metrics
Monitor and improve overall quality of service to clients for Clinical Programming work via deployment of required assets, personnel and techniques
Conduct targeted intervention and deployment of resources to improve quality of delivery for specific client situations as needed
Improve positioning and awareness of Accenture in Clinical Programming community to enable Accenture to be employer of choice
Be aware of latest technologies and trends and apply to client work, training content and people development
Accountability:
Overall responsibility is to be the SME for Clinical Programming capability.
Ownership and maintenance of Clinical Programming assets developed (training content etc.)
Accountable for quality of Clinical Programming service to pharma clients in specific situations where intervention is needed
Development and validation of workable solutions (with solution architect) for proposals for Clinical Programming work
Decision making and problem-solving:
The primary decision making responsibility centers on applying a thorough understanding of Clinical Programming requirements to develop training and other assets, and ensure quality of service to clients. These tasks would require application of technical knowledge and deployment of expert resources to meet client requirements and develop assets.
The Clinical Programming SME must be prepared to represent to make decisions about the appropriate course of action to take when confronted with training related issues.

Expert knowledge of Operations processes and supporting tools
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-4 years of related work experience
Minimum of 3-4 years in Operations in Clinical Programming related work
Previous experience in change management, process reengineering implementation and client management
Experience in a shared service environment
