1. Qualification
Post-Graduate / Ph.D. degree in Statistics
Over 4 – 8 years of experience as a biostatistician for global clinical trial submissions to regulatory authorities like FDA, EU.
2. Special Skills and Knowledge
Clinical Research
Good Statistical Practice
Design of clinical trials (concept protocol)
Sample size estimation
Randomization
Statistical programming with tools like SAS
Handled activities at project/molecule level – development of Statistical analysis plan and other project documents like Master analysis plan
3. Key Accountabilities
Development of Statistical sections of protocol
Calculation of sample size & randomization
Development of statistical analysis plan, mock tables &
Develop derived dataset specifications with algorithms and programming notes
Programming in SAS for analyzing data and producing safety and efficacy tables and listings in specified formats for submission or for other purposes
Maintain quality and timeliness of assigned project work
Quality control checks of the generated reports
Perform any other related activities assigned by the supervisor, such as creation of data files for PK analysis, ESUB activities, mapping, QC of code or generating annual reports
Assist other staff in programming whenever required
