A consulting firm specialized in clinical trial analysis is currently screening potential candidates for SAS Programmer and Statistician positions in Beijing area.
The basic requirements are: SAS/Base including Macro Language and SQL, SAS/Stat, SAS/Graph. At least a BS degree with MS level training on Statistics is required. The key requirement in SAS programming is the data step manipulation, not statistical modeling. The ability for logical reasoning is more important than the years of experience in Statistics and SAS programming. Medical knowledge helpful, but not mandatory. Fluent in English. There is no requirements on age, gender and nationality.
The actual hiring is contingent on an ongoing negotiation with the client firms, and it may not start within two months. We encourage people to start as a freelance consultant. They can keep their current job, participate our projects in evening or weekend. They will be paid on project basis. After a few projects, if there is a mutual interests, the regular position can be negotiated. Salary depends upon the qualifications.
